We have had so much fun this year in Reception and Year 1. We are excited to move into our new classes in September!
The children really enjoyed all of the activities and a good time was had by all!
Well done to the children who behaved beautifully, gave it their all and showed fantastic team spirit!
Thank you to the parents, for your support. It was wonderful to have so many of you there to encourage the children and share in this event.
Reception/Y1 went to visit Eleven O One or as he is more commonly known - Tommy. We enjoyed a lovely picnic and returned to school to talk about our trip. The children entered a colouring competition to show support for Mission 1101.
This week has been International Week in school, in Rec/Y1 we have been learning about the USA.
We have researched the USA, using the iPads and a Google search. We know that popular cities and landmarks in America include New York, Mount Rushmore and Niagara Falls!
We have had fun learning to line dance, make the American Flag - Stars and Stripes and tasting American food! Yum!
Reception and Y1 children enjoyed visiting the Toby Carvery Chef School last week. We learned about balanced diets and we had the opportunity to taste different fruits and vegetables. We also had a large roast turkey dinner!
