As a community Seaham are pulling together to buy 'Tommy' we decided as a class to go and visit this piece of art. We then came back to school and created an iMovie trailer, Pic collage and produced a persuasive letter asking our council to buy it.

This work looks really good. I'm impressed by your writing and it was very persuasive! Your photos are great but then you did have a brilliant subject.

I am very proud of the work you have produced. It is outstanding! I thoroughly enjoyed the video because the music which you have used definitely moves you. I am sure 'Tommy' will stay exactly where it is forever.

Well done year3/4 your film is excellent and your letters are really good. I do hope Tommy stays in Seaham . We always remember all our heroes of the past . I know how supportive you are in school towards the poppy appeal and you always respect our two minutes silence in November . I am so proud of you all.

I think your movie was very moving and poignant, there was a perfect choice of music and pictures, and I am so impressed with the depth of feeling and respect you have displayed for our heroes. You should all be very proud of your work.
